THE FOLDAWAY TOPSIDE CREEPER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Once unboxed, lay the Foldaway Topside Creeper on its wheels, apply brakes.
Release lynch pin holding the restraining strap (put pin in your pocket).
Lift ladder black section and swing to rear. Lift platform section via left or right handle into vertical position (use assistant if required). Couple ladder with main platform section, using pin (from your pocket) to secure ladder.
STEP 2
Remove lynch pin from lower platform locking bar. Use pin for second ladder lock.
Swing Orange ladder section over so it sits on the black ladder.
Now lift padded platform to the horizontal position. Locate its A-Frame using clevis pin on post.
Remove lynch pin from ladder lifting arm. Swing arm into position and retain with lynch pin.
STEP 3
Estimate desired working height. Slacken both stabiliser knobs on main post. Remove clevis pin. Have assistant hold the platform at desired height and install clevis pin. Tighten knobs. Now ready for use.
Handy Tips:
- Position the platform as desired. Apply brakes as required.
- Climb onto platform with torso forward on padded section.
- Slide orange locking bar to left. Lift legs whilst operating handle and slide locking bar to the right after reaching the horizontal position.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
Always be aware of your surroundings.
Not designed for use on anything other than flat smooth surfaces.
Always work in the area directly below the platform.
If the platform does not feel stable, reposition or do not use until you are comfortable that accidents will not occur.
